She is one of the most talked about celebrities in entertainment news. She recently spoke to Etimes and was asked if she is able to break the image of Akshara.
She said that she has not been able to break the image of Akshara yet. She revealed that whenever she goes out, people still call her Akshu and it is difficult as the fans have connected immensely with Akshara. She further said that people still miss Akshara a lot and she would do her best to make the character of Durga also popular and that they can see the character in her and love her the same way.

She added that she has done a few changes to the character of Durga so that they can see the changes. She also said that it is very difficult to part ways from Akshara as Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was her first show which she did for two years at a stretch. She said, “I played the role for two years continuously and then the leap happened and we had to exit. All of it happened suddenly so it makes a difference to your life.” Pranali said that she doesn’t want to forget Akshara ever.
