Kapil Sharma is all geared up for the release of the first episode of this comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2. The first guests on the comedy show are Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Vedang Raina, and Vasan Bala. The promo for the same was shared this week and viewers are excited for the same. Kapil returns with his cast: Sunil Grover, Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur. After sharing the main promo from the episode, Netflix shared another fun clip to create more excitement for the episode. The highlight of the clip is the fun interaction between Kapil Sharma and Karan Johar. As we know, Alia Bhatt is on the show to promote her upcoming movie Jigra. So, Kapil asks Karan how he’s on his show; when is the director casting him for a movie? To his, KJo reacted, “For that, you need Jigra! Kapil Sharma said in Hindi that he should open his chest and show his Jigra to Karan Johar. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director joked that they don’t have so much of Jigra to see him shirtless. That’s when Vasan Bala says how the real Jigra would be Kapil letting Alia tie him a rakhi. The actor-comedian responded, saying he doesn’t have that much courage to do the same. The promo for The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 Episode 1 has garnered a lot of great reaction. We see Alia and Vedang Raina playing fun games. Alia also talks about her love story with Ranbir Kapoor. Kapil has planned a fun surprise for Alia by bringing on the show a girl whom Ranbir ‘dated’ in the past. We find out that the girl is Sunil Grover and Alia couldn’t control her laughter.

The first episode will stream on Netflix on September 21, 2024, at 8 pm. Coming to Jigra, the movie is slated to hit theatres on October 11, 2024. It will clash with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Speaking of Kapil Sharma, the comedian has starred in several movies like Firangi, Zwigato, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Crew.
